In our department, we take care of the whole spectrum of vascular diseases. We aim towards a new, integrative concept. Our experts collaborate closely in operative vascular surgery, interventional treatment and conservative therapy, emphasizing the use of minimally-invasive options.

Core areas of the department are the treatment of carotid artery stenosis, aneurysms of the thoracic and abdominal aorta and arterial occlusive disease of peripheral arteries (arteries in pelvis and leg) (PAOD).

We also see patients with venous conditions like varicose veins, chronic venous occlusion, arteriovenous malformation.

Vascular access creation is also part of our spectrum of care.
