We welcome the visitors to the website of the Pathology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, on this introductory page. We hope that we will succeed in conveying the full picture of the department and all the services that the department provides to students, scientific research and society.

Despite the department's long history and its inception for decades, it is witnessing huge developments and real leaps in the academic field, whether in teaching methods or scientific content, in addition to the amazing technical development in the department's laboratories, and thus the diagnostic services.

Pathology is a very precise science, entrusted with studying the changes that occur in different tissues of the human body in various diseases, and thus accurately diagnosing these diseases based on histological and cellular analyses.

Due to the huge responsibility in providing diagnostic services to patients in the Delta Egypt, and the neighboring governorates, the department and its five laboratories have committed to applying the highest quality standards in analyzing and diagnosing the various samples that arrive at the laboratories daily. Accordingly, we train high-level cadres of doctors, technicians and workers to achieve the department's goals in reaching international levels in the accuracy of diagnosis, and thus the patient's access to sound treatment opportunities based on high-level diagnostic foundations.
