Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of the University, contracted the latest radiotherapy machine for the department with Varian company, which is the Truebeam Linear Accelerator, which is equipped with the latest radiotherapy technologies including SRS, IMRT & Arc therapy.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of the University, inaugurated the CT- Simulator Equipment on 6/29/2021 in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Shoma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hegazy, Executive Director of University Hospitals, and Prof. Dr. Shaarawy Kamal, Director of the Main University Hospital.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of the University inaugurated the palliative care unit on 9/3/2018 in the presence of Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and the general director of University Hospitals and the head of the department.
