Scientific Research

The pathology department contributes to enriching the scientific research at Mansoura University, especially in the field of applied medical research.
The department, within its research plan, selects the topics for master's and Ph.D. theses in accordance with the health requirements of the community, considering developing methods for diagnosing and treating cancers among its most important priorities.
The staff members in the pathology department participate in conducting scientific research in collaboration with the staff members in the clinical and academic departments at the Faculty of Medicine, other faculties in Mansoura University, and other research institutes and bodies.
Our staff members participate as editorial board members in many distinguished international and national journals, as well as in the review and arbitration of scientific research in international periodicals and pathology theses in other universities.
The department's researchers seek to publish their scientific research in a distinguished number of specialized international scientific journals that are listed in the most imperative global research databases, such as:
