• The department, within its research plan, selects the topics for master's and Ph.D. theses in accordance with the health requirements of the community, considering developing methods for diagnosing and treating cancers among its most important priorities.
• The staff members in the pathology department participate in conducting scientific research in collaboration with the staff members in the clinical and academic departments at the Faculty of Medicine, other faculties in Mansoura University, and other research institutes and bodies.
