About the Library
The library was established in 1962/1963
Its actual activity began in 1965/1966. The library is located on the fourth floor of the college building on an area of 749 square meters.
The library consists of two sections:
A section for students and a section for graduate studies
First: the student library
Area: 372 square metres. The external entrance has a private safety unit for students. External borrowing also includes student library books.
Second: Postgraduate Studies Library
Area: 377 square metres, which consists of: a briefing hall for researchers, which has an information unit to count visitors and make a statistical statement, a security unit for personal belongings, and the hall includes 2 lounges that can accommodate 10 people - 4 tables that can hold 20 chairs - 2 futons for a total of 32 researchers to view the hall, and the hall has a library. Digital with 6 computers connected to the Internet
The dissertations hall contains 8462 dissertations that the college awards to postgraduate students. Ph.D. 2214 – Master’s 6248 dissertations.
You can obtain the full text of research and articles on all topics, and it contains more than 40 international publishing houses
It allows the borrowing of four different books throughout the semester for local books for students who are unable
The Future Library Management System is considered the most widespread system in Egyptian university libraries. The first version of the system began in 1998, then an advanced system was issued in 2005 in line with international standards for library management systems. The system was implemented in 2007 in all Egyptian public universities to be Creating the first unified catalog for Egyptian universities, and this system is being implemented in Egyptian schools to create a library union for Egyptian schools.
