1986: Professor Ragheb El Refaay, the head of Internal Medicine department created the Mansoura Rheumatology and Immunology Unit as a part of Internal Medicine department.
Since then, the unit has been announced as a clinical unit at Mansoura University Hospital.
Mansoura Rheumatology & Immunology Unit, inpatient ward consists of 15 beds, 8 beds for female patients and 7 beds for male patients at department 14.
Also, Three outpatient clinics four times weekly.
