Establishment of Mansoura Medical Alumni Network (MMAN) was approved by the College Council’s decisions on January 12, 2010, and accordingly the association’s structure and various committees were formed.
We believe that the graduate is an integral part of the faculty and must be communicated and taken care of, as our mission aims to link graduates with the college and the university and with each other and provide distinguished services to members and support the college’s educational, research and service mission.
Mansoura Medical Alumni Network (MMAN) is always there for you. We maintain an open door policy and welcome alumni inquiries. We would like to welcome you back to our community.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ghoneim He came up with the idea of establishing the first medical center affiliated to the College of Medicine to serve the community, so the Nephrology and Urology Center was established, which became a global center. Pioneer of kidney transplantation in Egypt. He has many innovations and patents in the field of kidney and urology surgeries. |

Prof. Dr. Farha El-Shennawy The first woman to hold the Deanship of the Faculty of Medicine. Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs. And the founder of the Stem Cell Center as the first governmental bank for stem cells in Egypt. She holds a great officer's medal from the French ambassador. She has many societal contributions, being the head of the National Council for Women in Dakahlia and a member of the Egyptian parliament. |

Prof. Dr. Gamal Shiha Many societal contributions during his membership in the Egyptian parliament, where he was the Chairman of the Education Committee and Director of the National Liver Institute in Sherbin.

Prof. Dr. Nisreen Salah Omar Member of the Egyptian parliament, and vice dean for community service and environmental development affairs. The second woman to hold the Deanship of the Faculty of Medicine.

Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset Head of Mansoura University. Many contributions in the field of community service and environmental development, especially the participation of the university in the initiative of a decent life.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Wahab Pioneer of liver transplantation in Egypt. A member of the International Society of Liver Surgery since 1990 and has become the largest active member of it so far. He holds an honorary diploma from the Supreme Council of Scientific Research in Azerbaijan and an honorary silver shield. He contributes to training a liver transplant team in Zagazig university.

Prof. Dr. Tamer Abu Al-Saad Many societal contributions during his tenure as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, led by the efforts of the Faculty of Medicine in combating the new Corona virus, developing many departments in the college and university hospitals to serve citizens, setting up a work mechanism to be a real work nucleus to serve the community and graduates. Hhe holds a patent for the Karawan Program for Audible Speech Rehabilitation.
