       Since its establishment, the department of Public Health and Community Medicine is doing its best to produce medical graduates who are highly qualified, up-to-date, and competent in the field of Public Health, Occupational Medicine, Biostatistics and Environmental Health.

        Our department Professors and staff have a great role in promoting the health of our local and national population through providing their professional consultation, offering health education and participating in national and international projects and grants.

         Moreover, our staff have published a lot of international publications and some of them got a national and international scientific prizes and appreciation.
