The basic structure of the Plastic Surgery and Burns Center, which consists of 6 divided floors
The basic structure of plastic, reconstructive and burn surgery center:
A. The center consists of 6 floors divided as following:
1- A ground floor consists of:
• Maxillofacial clinic room.
• Two compartments for gases and electrical panels.
• Amphitheater for teaching students equipped with (Date Show).
• Two administrative offices.
• A room of the Friends of Burns Patients Association headquarters.
2- The first floor for chronic burn
• one room for daily dressing.
• 5 rooms for patients with a capacity of 16 beds.
• Spare room.
• Office for staff members.
3- The second floor for modern burn care:
• 4 rooms for patients with a capacity of 12 beds.
• Spare room.
• Office for staff members.
• Intensive care unit with a capacity of 2 beds.
4- The third floor:
• Intensive care with capacity of 4 beds.
• 4 operating rooms.
• 2 rest rooms for doctors.
• 1 room for nursing.
• 1 post-operative recovery room.
5- The fourth floor:
• Department Head Office
• Secretary's office
• 2 offices for staff members.
• 2 Doctors' bedrooms.
• pharmacy
• library
6- The fifth floor:
• 6 patient rooms with capacity of 21 beds.
• Office for staff members.
• Laboratory.
B. Plastic surgery department at emergency hospital:
1. It receives emergency cases such as hand, burn, maxillofacial and reconstructive surgery cases.
2. The inner section includes 2 wards, each contains (9) beds.
3. one operating room equipped with an operating bed, flashlights, anesthesia devices, and a mobile x-ray machine.
