The Postgraduate Stage
- The department’s staff members teach general and special pathology courses and elective courses to postgraduate students registered in the specialization of pathology from inside and outside the department. The department also grants the following degrees:
- Masters of Basic Medical Sciences: Pathology.
- Ph.D. in Basic Medical Sciences: Pathology.

- The department’s staff members teach the general and special pathology courses to master's and doctoral students registered in other academic and clinical departments at the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, including:

- The department’s staff members teach the “Advanced Pathology course” to the students of the Arab Board (Fellowship) of Nursing.
- The department’s staff members supervise and arbitrate the master's and doctoral theses for students registered in the specialization of pathology and doctoral theses for students registered in other specialties in the academic and clinical departments of the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry at Mansoura University.
- The department is keen to invite distinguished professors in the subspecialties of pathology to discuss the scientific theses of the department's demonstrators and assistant lecturers in order to achieve the desired scientific benefit from the discussion.

Scholarships and training
- The department supports and encourages postgraduate students to obtain joint supervision missions, scholarships, and full missions abroad (such as Japan, the United Kingdom, etc.) to gain experience and learn the latest diagnostic methods in the field of pathology.
- The department has a strong training program for demonstrators, assistant lecturers and Arab Board students, through lectures and weekly scientific symposia in the department and periodic training in the department's laboratories.
