History:

The cornerstone has been put 30 years ago. Then, it was opened since 1986.

After that, it was reopened since 2017 and named after Prof. Mohamed Salah in recognition of his hard work and efforts throughout these years.

Prof. Mohammed Salah is always present in the museum, and he does not stop working and renewing.

Nowadays, the museum has a brilliant white lighting which allows you to see the structures clearly from all directions.

Also, there are illuminated Qur’anic phrases, which are scattered on top of every wall of the museum.

On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, a visit was organized for 22 preparatory school students from Delta Modern School – Mansoura to explore the faculty.
The visit included:
(Experimental Research Center, Anatomy Museum, and Prof. Dr. Abu El-Naga Hall & Lecture Theater)
At the Anatomy Museum:
Dr. Mai El-Rakhawy gave an introductory talk about the museum, highlighting the importance of anatomy and the process of preparing and preserving different body parts. She provided a simplified explanation using museum specimens to illustrate the human body's various parts and vital systems. Additionally, she gave an engaging talk on the scientific miracles in the Holy Quran, emphasizing the human body's divine complexity.
