Medical convoys and protocols
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology, through faculty members and the supporting staff, contributed in many medical convoys, as well as protocols between Mansoura University and health affairs directorates in different governorates and cities over the past years.
During these participations, many different examinations were carried out, including plain x-rays, Ultrasounds and CT scans for a large number of citizens, which contributed to the provision and improvement of medical service in those areas.
This has included:
- A protocol between Mansoura University and the Directorate of Health Affairs at Al-Arish General Hospital in North Sinai Governorate during the period from 29-9-2017 until 23-8-2018.
- Voluntary medical convoy at Burullus Central Hospital in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, during the period from 1-12-2017 until 30-7-2018.
- The integrated medical convoy to serve the people of North Sinai Governorate, during the period from 7-10-2018 to 10-12-2018.
- The integrated medical convoy to serve the people of South Sinai Governorate, during the period from 9-3-2019 to 14-3-2019, as well as from 20-4-2019 until 25-4-2019.
- A protocol between Mansoura University and the Directorate of Health Affairs at Damietta Specialized Hospital during the period from 22-4-2019 until 1-1-2020.
- The integrated medical convoy for the cities of Halayeb and Shalateen in the Red Sea Governorate, during the period from 29-5-2021 to 3-6-2021.
A protocol between Mansoura University and the Directorate of Health Affairs at Bir Al-Abd Central Hospital in North Sinai Governorate, starting from 3-5-2021, which is still ongoing until now.
