       It is my pleasure, as the Head of the Department of Ophthalmology, to welcome you to this distinguished medical and academic institution. The department is dedicated to providing the highest standards of eye care while maintaining excellence in medical education and training for medical students and resident physicians.

      The Ophthalmology Center comprises fully equipped outpatient clinics for the examination, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of various eye diseases. It also includes operating rooms furnished with the latest surgical microscopes and state-of-the-art equipment for performing all types of delicate eye surgeries. In addition, the center offers laser treatment using the most advanced technologies, as well as specialized units for imaging and ultrasonography, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive and high-quality eye care services.

     The department places great emphasis on teaching and continuing medical education. It organizes specialized training courses and scientific workshops, and regularly holds scientific conferences aimed at exchanging expertise and keeping pace with the latest advancements in the field of ophthalmology—reinforcing its pioneering role in patient care and in the advancement of medical education at both the local and regional levels.
