In the framework of strengthening international cooperation ties and exchanging medical expertise, the Gastrointestinal and Liver Surgery Center at Mansoura University received His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmadou Lamin Samateh, Minister of Health of The Gambia, during his official visit to the center.
His Excellency was welcomed by Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Raouf, Director of the Center; Professor Dr. El-Sayed Adel, Deputy Director of the Center; and Dr. Ayman El-Agamy, Administrative Director. During the visit, His Excellency the Minister was accompanied by Professor Dr. Ghada El-Keneishy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Professor Dr. Mahmoud El-Waseef, Professor of Psychiatry.
The visit included a tour of the Organ Transplantation Building and the Main Building of the Center. The delegation reviewed the advanced medical capabilities and modern facilities available at the center. His Excellency, the Minister and the accompanying delegation expressed their profound satisfaction and admiration for the distinguished medical level and advanced healthcare services provided, praising the pioneering role of the Gastrointestinal and Liver Surgery Center at Mansoura University on both the regional and international levels.
