The Faculty of Medicine at Mansoura University announces the start of the trial operation of the new Orthopedic Surgery Center

         As part of Mansoura University’s ongoing efforts to develop the medical system and improve the health services provided to citizens, and as a culmination of the 2025 efforts, the Faculty of Medicine at Mansoura University announces the start of the trial operation of the new Orthopedic Surgery Center.

This will take place on Monday, December 22, 2025

       The new center is one of three major medical facilities affiliated with the university hospitals, and it was established and equipped with full government and university funding. This opening represents a significant addition to the hospitals' capacity, as the center provides approximately 300 additional beds, built according to the latest international standards and equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, to serve the residents of Dakahlia Governorate and neighboring governorates.

       On the operational level, the center received its first 5 patient cases, coinciding with the launch of academic and research activities, as postgraduate (Master's degree) exams were held within the center's halls, reflecting the complete readiness of the orthopedic medical staff to assume responsibility and provide the best medical and educational service.
