On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Abu Al-Naja Hall witnessed the launch of the activities of the

“Thirty-Third Annual Conference of the Department of Otolaryngology (ORL-MU)”, which is held under the title “Updates in ORL Practice”.

The conference was opened by Professor Dr. Ashraf Shoma, Dean of the faculty and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, who praised in his speech the pioneering role played by the Department of Otolaryngology in developing the medical and research system at the university, stressing the faculty’s constant support for such scientific gatherings that contribute to raising the efficiency of medical personnel and keeping pace with the latest global developments. For his part, Professor Dr. Mohamed Yahya Al-Qutb, Head of the Department of Otolaryngology and Conference Chair, welcomed the attending scientists and researchers, noting that this year's conference focuses on sharing practical expertise and showcasing the latest research and technologies in the field.

He explained that the conference activities will continue for two days, featuring ongoing scientific sessions and fruitful discussions.
