Scientific Day of Medical Histology & Cell Biology Department
The Department of Medical Histology & Cell Biology, under the supervision of Prof. Shehab Hafez Mohamed Head of Medical Histology & Cell Biology Department, organized a scientific day entitled
Preparation Methods and Utility of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP): Experimental and
Therapeutic Approach.
This was in cooperation with the Department of Clinical Pathology on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in the Postgraduate Studies Hall at Mansoura Faculty of Medicine. The day included many topics and we were honored by the presence of many professors from different departments.
1- Dr. Islam Abdelkader ( Lecturer of Clinical Pathology (Immunology) gave a lecture entitled Platelet Biology & PRP Applications.
2- Prof. Hanan Azzam Professor of Clinical Pathology (Hematology) gave a lecture entitled Principles & Methods of Preparation of PRP
3- Prof. Ghalia Mahfouz Attia Professor of Medical Histology & Cell Biology gave a lecture entitled Role of PRP in Experimental Model of Traumatic Skeletal Muscle Injury.
4- Dr. Shireen Shawky Lecturer of Medical Histology and Cell Biology gave a lecture entitled Overview of the Recent PRP Experimental Studies: Histological Approach.
5- Zeinab AbdellRahman Assistant Lecturer of Medical Histology and Cell Biology gave a lecture entitled Impact of PRP on limbal Corneal Stem Cells in Ultraviolet Radiation- Induced Keratopathy.
6- Maysa Moustafa Mansour Demonstrator of Medical Histology & Cell Biology gave a lecture entitled New Insights Into a Novel Application for Platelet-Rich Fibrin Therapy Targeting Stem Cells in Diabetic Skin Wounds.
7- Hadeer ElKodosy Demonstrator of Medical Histology & Cell Biology gave a lecture entitled Efficacy of PRP Versus Colchicine on Experimentally-Induced Myocardial Infarction.
