Abdomen, Pelvis and Female Imaging Unit is a highly specialized unit led by expert specialized radiologist. Our unit responsible for diagnosis of all Abdomen ,Pelvis and Female cases done by different Radiological modalities in our department including US ,CT, MRI, PET CT, Mammography ,and Tom synthesis. Also interventional procedures including FNAC, tissue biopsy, wire localization and clip marking.

In the last 5 years we raised the number of exams in MRI breast from (3-5 cases per month) to (50-80 cases per month), interventional procedures (from 30- 40 cases per month to 50-80 cases per month) in Oncology Center ,as well as increasing number of daily routine sonomammgraphic evaluation ,we also are participating in presidential campaign since March 2020 till now.

Our weekly meetings:

• MDT Gynecology every Sunday in OCMU with a team of specialized onco-surgeon, medical oncologists and pathologists discussing the cases of the week and make the appropriate decision for each case
• GIT MDT every Tuesday in OCMU with a team of specialized onco-surgeons, medical oncologists and pathologists discussing the cases of the week and make the appropriate decision for each case
