Under the patronageof Prof. Dr. Ashraf Shouma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Walid Al-Nahhas, Director of the Oncology Center, and within the framework of the continuous development of the medical system at Mansoura University Hospitals, the Oncology Center hosted on Saturday, February 14, 2026, the "Scientific Day of the Radiology Unit", on the occasion of the start of the operation of the new mammogram device with dye, which is a qualitative leap in the diagnosis of breast tumors. Integrated coordination between the Department of Radiology headed by Prof. Dr. Maha Bilal and Dr. Mohamed Al-Adlani, Head of the Radiology Unit at the Oncology Center.
The meeting came under the title "Basics of Contrast Enhanced Mammography", and witnessed the remarkable presence of a group of professors and doctors of diagnostic radiology, surgery, and internal medicine from various Egyptian universities and hospitals.
Prof. Dr. Rasha Kamal (Professor of Radiology at Cairo Medicine) presented distinguished lectures in which she reviewed the latest scientific insights in this field, and the discussions focused on the importance of integrating roles between the specialties of (surgery, radiology, and internal medicine) to ensure the accuracy of diagnosis and the selection of the optimal treatment protocol, and the vital role played by "dye mammogram" in the early and accurate detection of injuries was highlighted.

On Thursday, January 8, 2026, a training session was held for students from Mexico and Peru on the basic methods of bacterial culture, testing sensitivity to different antibiotics, how to examine and diagnose infections with different types of microbes, as well as sterilization policies and infection prevention within microbial diagnostic laboratories.

The activities of the "Eighteenth Training Course" of the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mansoura University, which came under the title: "Laparoscopic pelvic anatomy for Gyn-Onclogists" have been successfully concluded.
The two-day course witnessed many theoretical lectures that focused on the latest technologies and international standards in gynecologic oncology surgeries, as well as practical training inside the operating rooms to apply advanced laparoscopic surgery skills under the supervision of a group of professors from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Under the title "Emerging Therapies in the Treatment of Stomach and Esophageal Cancer," in the graduate studies hall at the college headquarters
Today's events included intensive scientific sessions that discussed the latest scientific advancements in combating gastrointestinal tumors.
At the end of the day, attendees praised the event's organizational and scientific level, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among all medical specialties to provide the best possible care for cancer patients.
The event was chaired by
Dr. Hanan Wahba, Head of the Department of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine at the college, and organized by Dr. Shukri Al-Azab, Assistant Professor in the department, with the participation of the Department of General Surgery and Anatomical Pathology.
Attendees commended the scientific material presented and the interaction between the various scientific departments in developing cancer treatment plans according to the latest international protocols.
On Thursday, December 18, 2025, the Clinical Pharmacology Department organized its annual scientific conference titled:
"Precision in the Nephron: Quantitative/Clinical- Pharmacology for Renal health”
The sessions focused on developing precise solutions for the challenges in treating kidney patients, including advanced protocols for dose adjustment in cases of renal insufficiency and the importance of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) to ensure maximum therapeutic efficacy with minimal side effects.
On the sidelines of the conference, a practical workshop concluded, aimed at training medical staff in using modern software for the highly accurate determination of clinical dosages.
The conference was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Shoma, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals and Medical Centers. The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Ghada El- Kenishy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Fakhar, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, as announced by Prof. Dr. Hala El-Ashry, Head of the Clinical Pharmacology Department and Secretary-General of the conference.
