The Annual Conference of Surgery Department 7 was held under the title:


"Latest Advancements in Hernia and Abdominal Wall Repair Surgeries"


The conference took place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Prof. Dr. Abou El-Naga Hall, Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University.
The second day, Sunday, September 14, will be dedicated to live surgical transmissions from Surgery Department 7, featuring complex and recurrent hernia repair procedures performed using surgical laparoscopy, with the participation of international expert Prof. Tim Tollens.

2. Identify and interpret key item analysis indices (difficulty index, discrimination index, distractor efficiency).
3. Apply item analysis techniques to real exam data to evaluate question quality.
4. Differentiate between high-quality and flawed exam items based on analysis results.
5. Revise and improve test items using evidence from item analysis.
6. Integrate item analysis findings into future exam planning for fairness and validity.
7. Reflect on how item analysis supports student learning and enhances overall assessment quality.
