The department accommodates two inpatient divisions; one for males and the other for females, in addition to the intermediate and intensive care units.

Special units have been founded, which include electrophysiology, stroke and neuro-interventional units.

The outpatient clinics welcomes hundreds of patients every week in the different specialized clinics: stroke, epilepsy, neuroimmunology, abnormal movements, headache and pain, genetics, neurodegenerative diseases and neuromuscular disorders.

Additionally, the department provides minimally invasive procedures for pain management, and botulinum toxin injection for different neurological disorders, and provides different electrophysiological studies including nerve conduction studies, electromyography, neurosonology and sleep studies.
