Obstetrics and gynecology department provide service for females in the delta of Nile allocated in 5 governorates. Also it has specialized subunits for reproductive medicine, feto-maternal medicine, gynecological oncology, gyno urology and minimally invasive surgery.
Also, it provides service for community in the field of contraception, maternal & fetal health and violence against females.
Many governmental and international projects were performed in collaboration with our department for screening of gynecological disorders and to raise community awareness of many false and unhealthy habits.
