Vision & Mission

 

The Department of Medical Parasitology’s vision is to enhance understanding of human parasitology including morphology, life cycle, host-parasite relationship, pathogenesis and subsequent diseases management aiming to reveal the underlying mechanisms concerned with the prevalence and control of parasitic diseases through the integration of the recent technologies and researches. The department is currently composed of 34 faculty members, and 14 graduate students, all who endeavor to change the field of Medical Parasitology locally and globally through innovative scientific researches, educating future scientists, advocating and practicing evidence-based medicine to improve community health and control major parasitic diseases.
