Tropical department provides both academic lectures as well as clinical rounds for postgraduate medical students at Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University through granting the following scientific degrees:
• Master Degree of Tropical Medicine including the curriculum of: hepato-gastro-enterology, infectious diseases, and nutrition.
• MD degree of Tropical medicine including the curriculum of: hepato-gastro-enterology, infectious diseases, and nutrition.
The department also provides both academic lectures and clinical rounds for the students of the Egyptian Hepatology and Gastroenterology Fellowship (affiliated with the Higher Committee of Medical Specialties of the Ministry of Health and Population) and the Arab Board of Infectious Diseases
The department has its own program of Continuous Medical Education (CME)
The department holds and participates actively in many workshops and academic lectures for training hepato-gastro-enterologists, infectious diseases doctors, and nutritionists as the national United Conference of Hepato-Gastroenterology and Infectious Diseases (UCHID), Dakahlia Hepato-Gastroenterology Association (DHGA), and the skill lab in Mansoura Faculty of Medicine.
